Dr. Kanika Sahni

Dr Sahni is an invited faculty at many national and international conferences and is a trainer for many dermatosurgical procedures in live workshops across the country. She was an active member of the IADVL Special Interest Group (SIG), Dermatosurgery in 2020-2022 and is currently a member of the IADVL Academy. She is a passionate teacher and her work involves training undergraduate and postgraduate students at AIIMS, New Delhi.

Dr Sahni is also the recipient of many awards including MGM Medical College Award for Best paper in National Conference of IADVL in 2010 and first runner up in Dermatology Quiz for Postgraduates in 2010 and Imrich Sarkany non European memorial scholarship in 2018. She has also trained in Cosmetic Dermatology and Lasers under Dr Martin Kassir, Texas, USA and was awarded the International Society of Dermatology mentorship.

She is an avid academician with more than 50 publications and numerous book chapters. Dr Sahni also serves as the Content Editor of the Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (IJDVL).
